A Typical Golfing Day in Japan

Here is a sample day’s schedule for a guest with a 9:00 AM tee time, departing from the hotel in Tokyo.

06:30

Depart the hotel for the golf club

Golf bags are loaded to the coach.

08:00

Arrive at the golf club.

Check-in at the reception.

The golf club staff will assist with unloading golf bags and transporting them to the ‘Caddie Master Room.’

At check-in, the guest will receive a numbered locker key.

After the check in, they may proceed to the locker and get dressed.

Find Golf Bag

The golf bag will be in front of the ‘Caddie Master Room’. The guest will meet their caddy, who will load the golf bag into the buggy.

Before tee time, the guest will practise putting at the designated area.

Tee Time

Start from No.1 or No.10

Half-Way House

The guest may have a quick refreshment after a few holes, paying with their locker key.

Lunch Break after 9 holes

The caddie will inform the guest of the start time for the second nine.

Begin the second half round.

Start from No.1 or No.10

14:45

End of the round

The caddie will take the golf bag to the entrance.  It is advisable to leave them a gratuity of 1000 yen.

15:00

Take a shower or bath. Change the clothes.

The guest will go to the locker room and enjoy the bath facilities.

15:30

Check out at the reception. Return to the hotel

The guest will settle any outstanding payments or fees there. They may leave the golf club.

Arrive at the hotel in Tokyo

19:00

Dinner

The guest will conclude their day with an unforgettable dinner.
